Black Conservative: ‘Lewis is a disgrace to MLK’s legacy in being loyal to the Democrat party’

Black Conservative: ‘Lewis is a disgrace to MLK's legacy in being loyal to the Democrat party’At least 20 Democratic lawmakers plan to skip Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony Friday after the president-elect lashed out against civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., who decided to call President-Elect, Donald Trump an illegitimate president.

As reported by Fox News, Lewis slammed Trump in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” saying that he didn’t see the president-elect as a “legitimate president” as well as blaming Russian hacking for helping him get elected. But one black conservative has had enough.

Black Christian conservative social/political humorist, Alfonzo Rachel, lashed out at Lewis for his lies and his association in the Democratic Party, the same party that created the Ku Klux Klan (KKK).

Rachel stated on his Facebook account, “Congressman John Lewis has long ago become more of a sniveling’ butt hurtin’ liar than a civil rights hero. He is a disgrace to MLK’s legacy in being loyal to the democrat party alone; the party that jailed and murdered #MLK.”

“Now He’s claiming along with the rest of these left wingers that Donald Trump attacked him… On MLK weekend even! As if MLK is supposed to be Lewis’s “Safe Space” or his “Safe Zone” where it is forbidden to respond to him, “said Rachel. “Even though Lewis attacked Trump in the 1st place by saying Trump isn’t the legitimate president to be.”

Rachel further said, “Hey Lewis! While you’re at it, how about you prove that other lie where you claimed a bunch of conservatives called you the N-word and spit on you… Breitbart offered a lot of money for video proof of that. Nobody could produce any proof of your slander. And now, Lewis is promoting slander.”

More than forty years ago, on August 28, 1963, a quarter million people gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial. They marched here for the cause of civil rights. And that day they heard Martin Luther King Jr. deliver his famous “I Have a Dream” speech, a speech in which he challenged America to fulfill her promise.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Most people are unaware that King also penned one of the most eloquent defenses of the moral law: the law that formed the basis for his speech, for the Civil Rights Movement, and for all of the law, for that matter.
