Betsy DeVos Confirmed After Raging Senate Battle

Betsy DeVos, Secretary of Education

After an all nighter pulled by Democrats hunting for a vote against Trump’s pick for Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos was confirmed this morning by a 51-50 vote. Vice President Pence cast the deciding vote.

It was an historical first: every single Democrat plus two Republican women voted against a woman for Education Secretary. Which brought their obstructionist count to 50-50 as of last night. But with her confirmation, their whole world appears to be collapsing – or at least they think it is.

Betsy DeVos is a strong Conservative who feels that education should be about information, not indoctrination. She is in favor of Charter Schools, school vouchers, and has worked tirelessly in her career to make sure all children have a decent education. She is a billionaire philanthropist, and Christian. She is the sister of Erik Prince, Navy SEAL and founder of Blackwater.

Remember when Democrats accused Republicans of being obstructionist? Remember the label “the party of NO?” Guess who gets that label now? The Democrats have done everything they possibly can to obstruct President Trump’s nominees.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Left wing hate

The left absolutely HATES Besty DeVos. Just like the President, they want her gone before she even gets a chance. The left says they are for education, but are also for killing babies. It’s backwards. And threats? Yes, the left has threats.

The hope is that now instead of indoctrinating children with Islam, they will be able to learn actual history. They might be able to add 2 + 2 and get 4 instead of some bizarre math that doesn’t come close to reality. Congrats, Mrs. DeVos!
