Democrats on Monday released their own version of a report on Benghazi, saying that the Republicans had been subscribing to “conspiracy theories.”
“We have been hampered in our work by the ongoing Republican obsession with conspiracy theories that have no basis in reality. Rather than reject these conspiracy theories in the absence of evidence — or in the face of hard facts — Select Committee Republicans embraced them and turned them into a political crusade.” Democrat report
The Democrats claim that nothing could have been done the night the CIA annex was attacked, and branded Trey Gowdy’s committee as nothing more than a witch hunt targeting Clinton. They took aim at the Republican committee, claiming that history would look back at their efforts and see that it was NOT the way to conduct an investigation.
They want the focus to go back to improving security at US facilities around the world. Let’s just forget about it. Never mind secret arms deals with jihadists in Libya that whistleblowers have been screaming about for 4 years. Never mind. It’s not important.
But…four Americans died. FOUR. Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods. In nearly every hearing held by Mr. Gowdy, military officers have come forward to say that assets were available to get to Benghazi, at least in time to save Doherty and Woods. Why were they not deployed? Because someone said not to. Don’t do that. Might upset some jihadists somewhere.
What difference does this make?
Hillary Clinton is running for the highest office in the land…as a criminal. When the White House disclosed that she was being investigated criminally, the President ENDORSED her! That is unconscionable.
But Hillary’s narrative has been and will continue to be, “What difference does it make?” Their blood cries out from the ground for justice.
She used a private email server, endangering US Security. Her emails revealed the location of the Ambassador, which ultimately cost his life. That private server was hacked. One of her closest aides, Huma Abedin is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, and said that Clinton was “often confused.” She will give a deposition about the emails on Tuesday.
Did she deliberately deny security to the Benghazi compound? Her State Department did. Someone did. She was in charge. The buck should stop at her feet. Was there an ulterior motive in her actions? No doubt.
Instead of regretting anything, she has remained arrogant and self-justified. She has never expressed sympathy to the families of the Benghazi victims, and has even accused those families of lying.
The snake hole involving Hillary Clinton is wide and as deep as it is long. She cares nothing about the peons, she cares only about herself and power. If you think that’s all a “conspiracy theory” then move to Libya. PLEASE, America, DENY her the power of the Presidency.
